WHY WE LOVE lT

Mana Pools in Zimbabwe’s Zambezi Valley up north and Gonerazhou in the south-eastern corner of Zimbabwe blend together beautifully for a Bush Camp combo like no other. Combine rugged, beautiful landscapes with incredible game viewing and walking in the wild… both Mana Pools and Gonerazhou are two areas in Africa that remain truly wild and unspoiled by mass tourism. One of the best things about this itinerary? These vibrant camps are run by young, energetic, passionate people and offer the best in comfort and class on the banks of the Zambezi and Runde Rivers…

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Spend four nights at Mana Pools Safari Company Mobile Tented Camp.
Zimbabwe’s largest concentration of hippos and crocodiles and large dry season mammal populations of elephant and buffalo can be seen in the Mana area. Run by Sarah and Milo Harrup, this authentic and classically comfortable camp is the perfect base from which to see wildlife up close, either from the safety and comfort of a specially modified 4WD vehicle or by foot, as Mana is one of the few places in the world where you can still walk in the wild. Accompanied by your guide, who is armed, walking provides a real connection to the earth.

Spend four nights at Gonerazhou Bush Camp.
Gonarezhou Bush Camp is a mobile tented camp run by Ant and Rawana Kaschula, which can be set up in several locations within Gonarezhou National Park, depending on the time of year and wildlife movements.

The aim is to offer a close-to-nature wilderness experience where guests can touch, feel, smell and taste the bush. A day with Gonerazhou Bush Camp may include watching lions make an early morning kill, quietly watching elephants stripping a Baobab tree or catching a tiger fish at sunset. Explore by vehicle or on foot with Ant Kaschula as your guide in an area he knows and loves intimately.
